Poem: Roberto- Caring for a stranger

Gratitude of the day: The kindness and actual concern showed to my husband today by Roberto. My husband has a dairy allergy, and almost every time we eat out someone puts dairy on his food and its been so hard to get someone who actually cares about the fact that dairy makes him sick. But this gentleman made POSITIVELY sure that my husband could enjoy his meal dairy free. It may seem like a small thing, but it made it possible for my husband to enjoy his meal and spend time with me rather than fighting to get a sandwich that would not make him ill. Thank you for that Roberto. Thank you for caring about two weird little people that you just met. You made a difference today.

Its nice that people still exist
Who care about being kind
Its nice to know that if you look
Good people you can find.

Its in those tiny gestures
Like using manners and holding doors
That my faith in human kind
is growing more and more.

People who pay attention
When you have a real concern
Those who are not looking
For ways to make words burn.

Being kind does not take much
And most just do it cause its right
But these little human beauty
Are an awing and wonderful site.

So thank you for being kind today
For showing a little grace
You are the reason I still believe
In the goodness of human race.
